The Land of Milk and Honey

Since T. Odis shared the J. Dilla tribute with you all, I think I should keep that momentum going and share a track from my up coming Literary Mixtape, “I’m A Nobody–Too”. The track samples J. Dilla’s “Got Til It’s Gone” from Janet Jackson 1997 release The Velvet Rope LP. J. Dilla samples Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi for a timeless production.

My track not only samples J. Dilla’s production, but Joni Mitchell’s vocals and the hook from Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi sung by Danielle Johnson.
