Milieu-Media; WILLOW SMITH AS MISS CELIE IN ‘THE COLOR PURPLE’ REMAKE

As of late, Will Smith has been in the business of producing and getting his daughter work. Smith was buttering up Spielberg to the possibility of Willow Smith playing the roll of the young abused victim, Miss Celie Harris. Willow Smith has been reportedly preparing for this career-defining role by sun bathing on LA hotel roof decks, and beating her face with an ugly stick so that the film does not lose the authenticity Whoopi Goldberg brought to the silver screen.  When asked at a recent birthday party gig how her face felt the young Smith said, “I show is ugly.”
